I did not have this on my list of reading, but, my son has to read this book for English. I thought I should read it so that when he needs help with homework I know what I am talking about--LOL!! I'm done with the first chapter and I am not impressed.
To say I did not like this book would be an understatement!!!! The writing seemed very disjointed in many places. If you think about the concept it is very disturbing how quickly he had them hunting/killing others. Why do they make high school kids read this garbage?!?
ReplyDeleteAmen, sister! I subbed for an English class last year and decided to read the book too. Disturbing but also an interesting perspective on how fast the "natural man" can take over. Yuck!
