The Forgotten Garden

This was a great book.  A little mystery, a little drama, a little intrigue!!!  A granddauther sets out to find out her grandmother's true identity after her grandmother dies and leaves clues for her.  The book spans from Australia to England and from the late 1800s to the early 2000s.  Read it. . .I know you will love it.

  1. Thanks for the list. I'm heading for some real reading time and am having trouble finding something I trust enough to take it to the hospital and be stuck with it for hours on end. (I could always take my trusty Harry Potter. I never tire of the rereads.) If you're looking for a good youth series, let me know. I won't tempt you until you want it...

  2. Winter Garden is another great book. It starts a little slow, but I couldn't put it down once I got going. And, feel free to bring on another youth series (I thought I had read them all-LOL)!!! (So much for my list.)

  3. I loved this book. I'm definitely going to look up more of hers. The City of Ember series is a good one--futuristic but easy reads and nice characters.
